Gibson Energy is recognizing 95 years at its Moose Jaw facility, a long-standing operation that has been part of the community for nearly a century.
Gibson acquired the facility in 2002. In the years since, the company has expanded it to operate year-round and broadened its product offering to include paving and roofing flux asphalt and wellsite fluids.
Today, the Moose Jaw location continues to support customers across the region and remains an important part of Gibson’s broader network.
For Blake Frederick, Manager of the Moose Jaw Facility, the anniversary is an opportunity to recognize the people behind the site’s longevity.
“Reaching 95 years is a meaningful achievement for our team,” Frederick said. “This site has a strong history in Moose Jaw, and that can be attributed to the people who have worked here over the years. Their focus on safety, community, and customers drives the facility’s continued success.”
Gibson team members joined the Moose Jaw Fire Department to mark a donation of personal protective equipment in support of local first responders and community safety.
Since becoming part of Gibson, the Moose Jaw site has continued to evolve to meet customer needs while maintaining a strong focus on safe and reliable performance.
Frederick said the anniversary is also an opportunity to thank employees, past and present, for their contributions.
“A 95-year history does not happen without dedicated people,” Frederick said. “We are grateful to everyone who has contributed to this operation and to the role it continues to play.”
As the facility marks 95 years in the community, the company is recognizing the employees who have helped shape the site’s past and continue to support its future.
