In addition to being fully connected by pipe, Gibson Energy offers customers the flexibility to move their product by truck or rail. Through our exclusive partnership with USD Group, Gibson is the only company at Hardisty with the flexibility to move Western Canadian energy products out of Hardisty by unit train. Our pipeline connection to a high volume, state-of-the-art unit train loading facility provides our customers with more options for moving crude oil across North America.

Edmonton Rail

Gibson Energy’s Edmonton terminal is strategically located next to Alberta’s “Pipeline Alley” – a major crude oil hub that connects some of Canada’s most important gathering and export pipelines. In addition to storage capacity, our Edmonton facility offers customers the most flexible off-loading and loading infrastructure in the industry, along with receipt and delivery options, using a combination of truck, rail and pipe, to ensure product gets to market safely and reliably.
